So status update. After approval at interview checked visa status and it stayed on Ready for 6 days then changed to Administrative Processing for the 22nd day now with the latest update being today. Looking back at post in my country's portal some people got their passport with visa in hand in 5 days and latest a week. Everyone says not to worry but I can't help to. I understand the Embassy is handling alot of cases but I'm still bothered by how long mine is taking. Really want to be with my wife for my birthday and my step child's graduation. Though it's out of my hands I feel like I am letting them down

Got to NY on the 15th and got my social security card on the 23rd!!! Happy camper!!

Hi,

I just got off the phone with a representative at NVC because I wanted to see if by some miracle I had been assigned an interview date. I wasn't expecting anything until August because that's what it looked like but I was wrong!!!!! The representative was awesome he asked me "Do you want an interview date?" I told him that yes very much so haha and he said well congratulations it was assigned yesterday. :dancing::dancing:

My husband's interview date is on July 20, 2016 at 8:45 am in Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. I could not be any happier!!! God is good and all of you guys are wonderful because the support system we have in these threads are amazing! God bless all of you!!!!! :)

August 21, 2012: We started Dating
September 13, 2014: We Got engaged!

YES GOOD NEWS!! I am happy you finally got your interview date too!! Great day for us in Ghana. I will also say thank you to everyone who has given words of encouragement while we have waited for almost three months. I am so excited today and on cloud 9!!! I think I will stay up here a while. lol :D:D:yes:

Husband did his Medical exam yesterday and today at 4pm (all local time) he picked up his sealed envelope and CD. Chennai is fast!

He did say the area was not the best. Last year's flood really did a number over there.

Poor guy...took 13 hours train ride to get to Chennai and now on a Coach bus (15 hours) to get back home...plus his arms are still sore from the vaccinations.

God willing next month at this time we will be together to celebrate our 1 year!

You can the embassy and ask.

I heard about something called DOS where u can call but do you happen to have a contact number? I may wait until the end of this week and see if there are any changes before I decide to call. Will try to be as patient as I can.
