Hey guys since I read that they are starting interview scheduling today I went ahead and called NVC. My cc was April 26th and I have a interview scheduled for July 19th. I wanted to know why is it that far out in July when they just started scheduling. I was just wondering. At this point I'm just happy to know that I have an interview scheduled. Alhamdulillah. GOD IS GREAT!!!!

Congratulations! It could be that NVC had many other cases with case complete before yours for Pakistan waiting for interview to be scheduled.

Approved in Kingston today. Only two questions asked ,to my husband how many kids we have and to me when did migrate to America. Then he said approved pick up passport in one to weeks but my husband spoke to the CO and we getting in back Friday. Like Debbie always say front load your packages. No request for additional documents not even 2015 tax documents

That's awesome! Yes, front loading your petition is worth it, especially in countries like Jamaica and Nigeria. Congratulations! :D

APPROVED today, just came back from my interview, had the appointment at 9.30 and I was out by 10am !

Didn't ask for anything, pictures, deeds, bank account ... nothing ! just few questions about what I will do when i get there.

Best day ever !

So status update. After approval at interview checked visa status and it stayed on Ready for 6 days then changed to Administrative Processing for the 22nd day now with the latest update being today. Looking back at post in my country's portal some people got their passport with visa in hand in 5 days and latest a week. Everyone says not to worry but I can't help to. I understand the Embassy is handling alot of cases but I'm still bothered by how long mine is taking. Really want to be with my wife for my birthday and my step child's graduation. Though it's out of my hands I feel like I am letting them down

No I didn't request for any expedite, all I did was keep calling them it seem they were tired of me call them so they just put me in for my date lol I never give got to give all the praise for this one..

We finally got our interview date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! July 18th. I am so excited I can't even stand it right now!!!

Hey Edissa,

I know the wait is frustrating, but like you said it's out of your hands now so all you can really do is pray and wait. It normally goes to Administrative Processing before going to Issued, so it's a good sign that you're visa is almost ready. Sorry you have to experience a delay, but stay encouraged. I'm believing with you that you will make it in time for your wife's birthday and your step child's graduation. :thumbs:
