GERRR! Which is Non-Immigrant Visa Number?

I've call people at USCIS about which number is the Non-Immigrant Visa number on the K-1 visa which you need to fill out the AOS form. The first lady told me it's the one that starts with an A and has nine digits. I told her no, that's the Alien Number and that isn't even on the Visa. Both her and the other lady i called (which the second one was significantly more aware and intelligent) said they could only say that it was on the visa somewhere but couldn't tell me if it was the Control Number or the Red number.. or some other number. IT'S THEIR FREAKING FORM!! WHY CAN'T THEY ANSWER THIS?

And then of course the National Visa Center is busy.

So... i've read on the forums that people have used the Red one and it works fine, or they'll put both down in the space provided. Does anyone have any DEFINITIVE answer on this from an official?
