Hi Guys,

I need to try and get the IRS to fax me my account transcripts to send with my i-751. I received a letter from them when I requested them online saying it couldn't be processed, with no explanation as to why?

is it still possible to get them faxed? I called the number they provide and it didn't offer to speak to an operator?

getting a little concerned as my date to send this off is fastly approaching.

Thanks for any help,

I really appreciate it :)

There have been postings in the Tax and Finance forum indicating success with going into the local IRS office and obtaining a transcript at that time.

:time: It helps everyone that uses the forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

You got a letter saying "it could't be processed"!!!. It seems like they couldn't process your transcript at all due to some problems or unavailability and not like they couldn't mail your transcript. So you might wanna pay a visit to nearest IRS center or talk to their customer service just to clear things up.

I have had my transcript faxed to me before. It's been a couple of years, but you can try it. Call IRS general number/operator and ask for the tax transcript department. Get a live human and ask that the transcripts you need be faxed to you. They will want to know if it is a private fax and you are there to receive the fax as it comes in. They won't just fax confidential information to Staples for you to collect later. But if it is your home, then say yes it is private. It gets queued to be sent and the fax will come through when your document get to the head of the queue. Maybe 15-30 minutes. The faxed ones are kinda messy looking compared to those I have received by mail.

If the reason you didn't get it is because the IRS has not created the transcript yet, the human on the line should be able to tell you.
