How often the US Embassy updates the visa case?

Hi Everyone,

My fiancee's case has been updated on April 10, 2016 (On Interview day). The Councilor asked extra documents. We sent the required documents on April 25, 2016. The second update was on April 26, 2016 Administrative Processing. Today, another update April 28, 2016 with the same AP. Can any one tell me what does this mean and what should I do?

They will make updates to your case when they are working on it, this includes if they are for example responding to an email inquiry from yourself about your case status.

There is no way to predict how much longer your AP will last; however, if all they needed was the document they provided they should complete processing in the next couple weeks.

you may stay in AP for additional security checks or receive a message saying sent back to the USCIS

If that happens, be prepared to make another trip and marry and apply for CR!

getting sent back a K1 is allowed to die / there is no appeal

Right now, as others said, all you can do is wait, have a lot of patience and pray
