Interview and Medical for Thailand

I am so excited. My fiance just got her interview date. Now we have to do the medical. My fiance lkives way in the north and will have to come to BKK to do the medical and the interview.

My question is this, how long do the medical results take? Her interview is on a Tuesday, can she do the medical on a Monday or does she have to do it the week before. Ideal would be do knock this out with one bus trip.

The medical can be done in one day, Call to make an appointment. It will take about 4 or 5 hours of your time-----mostly waiting.

The medical took my wife about two hours, and she got the results that day. Assuming there are no complications that would warrant further testing, it should be good for you to do too. We didn't even have to make an appointment, they just said to show up. This was at BNH.

Also, be aware some of the information given by the IV Unit regarding the exam is incorrect. The IV Unit's info said to take three (3) photos sized 1 x 1-1/2 inches, but what BNH, and presumably Bumrungrad too, wants is four (4) photos sized 2 x 2 inches (basically the same as the other photos already submitted for the visa application). Fortunately they told us about the photos when we called ahead and so were prepared. The IV Unit also said the basic fee for BNH would be Bt2850, but no, it was Bt3300. Any vaccinations needed will be extra, of course. My wife needs to get a booster to one of the vaccinations right about now but can do it elsewhere where it will be cheaper, she doesn't have to return to BNH just for that.
