Hello VJ family,

How is everyone doing out here? I hope God is giving each and everyone out here on this journey and in this process, strength and the energy to be able to make it through, because this process is not an easy journey!

Anyway i do have a question! Diew to some strange experience i am facing,

My problem is, i came to USA 10/21/2015 we got married same month and November we submitted all our process, we did received our NOA 1 started that our application was received 11/09/2015, i went for biometric and everything, in Febuary i did received my EAD, thank God for that, but later was back and forth diew to more requested of Initial evidence, after all was submitted, the uscis stated on their web all they need has been received, but didint hear anything from them anymore, after 3 months plus, i just received mail from the uscis with an appointment for another Biomatric, please can somebody give me any idea

What happend the the 1st biometric and why i have to go for another biometric

Please any idea or advice is highly appreciate

Thanks Merry

So in this case after the fingerprint then how long do we have to wait to receive a decision from the uscis?

Are they going to start the whole process all over again? Or proceed further if they get the correct fingerprint

If you still have your first biometrics noticed, you can see which code it was ( 1, 2 or 3)

Each code is a different kind of biometrics;

Code 1 is fingerprints.

Code 2 is index finger + photo + signature.

Code 3 is all of the above.

They should be good for 15 months.

Generally, someone doing AOS should be doing a code 3.

I had to have a second biometrics appointment because my 1st one was a code 2.

I might be wrong, but it's what I understood after doing a research.

I know some people started getting news a week or 2 after their biometrics taken, so unless something in your petition was off, it should be fine.

Thanks Chalandrae,

I appreciate the infor, yes this mail or appointment said code 3

So with your infor, it's seems clear to me

Because my case has been under review since febuary so it makes me feel some kind way,

And also i dont see many people on here or from other website with Adjustment of status, doing 2 times finger print, so then i was thinking something went wrong

Thanks to you all for the infor

Yes Chalandrae the first one was code 2

So my second question is: so after this biometric, doe it take long for them to make a decision on the case?

Though every case is different and also this process i know you need favour of God because on here VJ and other websites I followed aswell some start and withing 3 to 4 months they have their green card
