Hi everyone,

It has been almost 2 months since I sent off my REF package (March 07). I tracked the mail and it was received on March 08 by California Service Center. Since I noticed that almost all REF cases got approved within 1-2 weeks, it gets me really concerned. Can anyone give me any information? Thanks so much for your time.

i called USCIS on the 21st April, get transfered to the 2nd agent because the case is pending over 6 months. The agent promised the case will be decided within 21 days. Couldnt wait so called again after a week. Went through the whole process, got the 2nd agent confirmed that sombody had looked into our case the previous day, and promise the answer by the 9 of May. Called again today and got the congratulation from them: card has been sent. Went home and got it in the mail.

So apparently my call on the 21st April triggered them to work on my case.

All the agents are nice and very helpful. Surprisingly, they gave the expecting date and other information very firm and correct.

So I suggest just call them every week if you have waited over 6 months.

Good luck and thanks for your attention!
