we just got stuck with rfe from Potomac uscis center , they asking for a marriage certificate which we already did sent, and translated from ministry of justice in Egypt and USA embassy stamp on it, and yet they say we need to submit one and not marriage contract?!! If I may ask what you guys submitted and if you have any advice, we living together in Egypt since our marriage and they asking for more bona-fide marriage evadiance.. Any advice? Thanks a lot, it's confusing?

Hopefully I'm on the right forum

You need to give proofs that your marriage is for love 'legitimate' and not immigration fraud. If you share joint bank accounts, joint property ownership/rental lease agreements, having children together; also helps the length of time you've been married (from what I've heard). Basically any hard evidence that proves your relationship is truly legitimate and not fake.

I hope this helps and good luck to you both.

well we are together in Egypt since our marriage, we going to send them more papers, like joint bank account, lease with our names on it, life insurance policy,

our medical health care cards together, and more pictures, the confusing thing is the marriage certificate !! we submit the only thing paper issue for marriage, and other USCIS accept it, but for Potomac seems cause they are new they question everything!

I'm not expert by any means, but it seems like you guys have sent as much information as you can. I truly hope that the rest of your immigration goes smoothly and quickly.
