I could have but I couldnt. I don't have a lot of spare time. I needed to gather more info and not very confident of the evidence I have in hand. And I don't have extra $590 readily available.

Is there an update on your case? I wonder what did you do? we are running out of time also and haven't receive NOA1.

Is there an update on your case? I wonder what did you do? we are running out of time

also and haven't receive NOA1.

No update yet. I called the other day and was told it can take up to 30 days. Rep said call back if no lettter is received after 30 days.

Don't worry. VSC has a backlog and you are not the only who have been impacted. Your petition was received well before the expiration of your GC. You will receive the NOA1 once the backlog is cleared. About your license , is it a learner's permit as a full license is usually issued for longer period ?

You will receive the NOA1 once the backlog is cleared. About your license , is it a learner's permit as a full license is usually issued for longer period ?

Thanks! I just read the April 2016 Filers thread. I hope they clear the backlog soon.

It's the license, not a permit. It was good for 2 years as well which is expiring soon.

Yup - in Ohio it's a two year license. My husband's expires in June. He cannot renew it without the extension, same with working...

Following as we're in a similar boat of CGC expiring and still waiting for VSC to process our NOA1...

VSC started cashing checks yesterday. Ours still hasnt been cashed. And I saw a post whose packet was received the day after ours and their check was caashed yesterday. It gets me worried.
