I filed my I-129F in late February. On April 21, I received my text and email notifications that the I-129F was approved. I did not get an RFE. I hope this helps others.

I used Greenbaum's guide to help me through the process. http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa I also remembered reading that front-loading can be beneficial and won't hurt, so I did a little front-loading. So, my contents were:

Cover letter found either here or at Greenbaum's site, slightly modified to fit my situation.

I-129F, properly filled out (with notation on "how we met" question, stating the answer would be found on a different sheet)

G-325A

G-1145

I-134

3 years of Profit and Loss statements from my accountant (I'm an independent contractor truck driver)

My Letter of Intent to Marry

My fiancee's Letter of Intent to Marry (Example letters of intent can be found here and elsewhere)

A brief statement of how we met online, with declaration it is not a marriage broker and copies of the introduction and TOS from that site. (Don't assume they know anything about the site, just include the intro and TOS automatically. This is one point that will frequently get RFE.) Included in the statement is the dates and durations of our time physically together.

15 photos of us together. 3 photos with her sister in the picture and 1 photo with 2 of our friends in the picture.

Iteneraries from the online booking agency for the flights over

Copy of the front page of my passport, showing my photo and passport number

Copy of the visa pages of my passport, showing my arrivals and departures from her country

3 pages of receipts, which included 1 boarding pass (about 5 receipts per page)

Her original birth certificate

My original birth certificate (I had her get 3 originals, and I got 3 originals)

Her CENOMAR (Philippines-specific, check with your country requirements)

My divorce decree (certified copy from the court)

Bank check for the proper amount (I did not use a personal check or a money order, but a bank draft)

8 pages of Skype chats spanning the first year of our relationship

3 pages of FaceBook messenger chats (I disconnected from the internet, scrolled to the top, and captured the notation that there were x number of previous chats, then used paint to circle that number)

1 page of FaceBook messenger chats between her sister and me, with the x number also circled

1 page of FaceBook messenger chats between her and my daughter, showing her intent and my daughter's acceptance of her

I believe that's it. If I remember something, I will edit this list and note at the bottom that it was edited and what was added.

I have read that originals are not necessary at this stage, but would be necessary further down the line. Since I was going in and getting the originals in order to complete this packet, I went ahead and got them in triplicate, so I could send originals and still keep originals. Again, this is what I sent, and I did not get an RFE. I hope it's beneficial.

Congratulations and thanks for posting :-)

Just so that others don't freak, you definitely did frontload and also sent quite a bit if unnecessary items (eg. I134, financial proof, her birth certificate and cenomar are only needed at interview stage)

Good luck in the rest of your journey :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

It doesn't seem I can edit my original post.

I also included the passport size photo of myself and the passport size photo of my fiancee.

Our names are on the back of all the photos in black permanent marker (sharpee).

Dates, locations, and names of everyone in the selfies.

All signatures are "wet" signatures, none are emailed copies.

Don't know why it was moved to the progress forum, since it was meant to help others see a way to avoid RFEs. It's not a progress report per se, but an RFE avoidance process.

Shouldn't have done that.

It is a progress report. You included way more information and documentation than is required and requested. That additional information is not why you did not pull any RFEs, it is because the required documentation was included and in the proper format, etc.

I also remembered reading that front-loading can be beneficial and won't hurt, so I did a little front-loading.

Front end loading is important for those countries/Embassies where it is important to include it. The addtiional documentation does nothing to offset any issues that USCIS may have with the required documentation.

So, my contents were:

My packet was similar, but I didn't include any financial information or correspondence with her family. No RFE. Congrats y'all.
