Ok! So, we were able to finally submit the package I believe it was the 5th of April. I see a lot of people that it takes exactly a month when they get their letter from the NVC stating their appointment is this true? I don't know if it's because I'm so stressed out over this, inclusive missing my husband so much that I still don't quite get the grasp of how everything truly functions. I've been lurking on the website for a while and see how some people see when their packages gets scanned, how would I be able to check that out too? Also, is it true for the majority of cases in Mexico, the appointment is usually a month after you receive the letter with the appointment? It's been so long! I began this whole process in Feb of 2015. I have a lawyer so the majority of paperwork has been sent to them, and was also wondering if the letter with the appointment was also going to be sent to them because they're so busy, they're kind of bad at notifying they received something.

As for the interview, I'm kind of scared, that they will think it's iffy, only because of my age, I was 17 when we got married/I filed for him. I have proof of the last 7 visits I believe? I can't really go out, I'm on dialysis, and was wondering what stuff has to be taken to the interview. I get the pictures, conversations, etc... plane tickets? Can I give him a doctors letter stating I'm on dialysis and that's why I can't really go out even though I do go more than I say I can.. lol. (for several days at a time, 4-5 days max.) Although, I mean, through pictures and Skype logs you'd see our relationship is more than legitimate.

Just wondering, I'm super super tired of waiting so long! And I wish I can see the status and I know it's a phone call away but I find it so much easier looking it up online rather than being on hold for an hour. Email? I didn't know that could've been done. Is there somewhere to sign up or did it have to be provided in one of the applications... lol.

Thanks everyone, once again!!! for the help, and any tips would be greatly appreciated! (F):help:

It will take about a month to get a case complete if everything is correct. After the case complete it can take a few weeks to several months to get an interview date depending on the consulate or embassy. For Mexico it is generally pretty fast so about a month after your CC youd get an interview date that would be about a month away from that.

Did you have parental consent to get married at 17 or propf that you didnt need it? You may want to make sure you send that with your husband to interview.

Even if you have a lawyer you can call the NVC for updates.
