Leaving Items Blank?

Hi everyone -- I know there are many threads on this but I am still confused...

When I read the forums it says to never leave anything blank, but when I look at the sample of the 751 filled out, there are blanks everywhere.

Here are some examples of sections I am struggling with:

Other names used (on the sample, they have it blank...but from reading the forum, I should write N/A)

My A-number as the US Citizen spouse (on the sample, there isn't one written...but I am assuming I should write N/A?)

Every other space that is N/A to us, such as date marriage ended in divorce (Number 13 in Part 1), Physical address, Province, Children, etc.

Thank you so much in advance. We have all of our evidence and are ready to finalize everything, but all the blanks are concerning me when I am reading that I should never leave anything blank.

If in doubt, check the instruction form for the form you're trying to complete. Google "Instruction PDF for **Insert form number**".

Some forms you leave blank (particularly those that generate a barcode or other electronic signature), others you write "N/A".

For your form, the instruction PDF states:

"Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been

married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise
directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many
children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless

otherwise directed."

I am filling every single item that I have no answer to as "N/A". No blanks on my page!

Agreed! The instructions to the forms say what we should do if the answer is "none" or a question does not apply to us.

Thanks, so for all questions that dont apply to us, just write in N/A i.e all sections for children?

About half of my I-751 has "N/A" written in black ink on it. Children area, interpreter, etc.

If you have no children, put 'None' on the first line. No need to put none on every line after that.

Thanks everyone. I have consulted the directions and multiple tutorials, it is just confusing because all of the filled out examples do not follow those directions (everything that is not applicable is left blank.)
