Hi,

I'm a K1 Visa Holder, married now, sending out my AOS package later this week, including the I-131. My question:

Do I have to specify dates and locations if I'm not sure when I will go to specific places? What if I'm not sure the exact locations within a country (does that matter)?

i.e. My partner and I need to go to Canada sometime this summer if at all possible, and we were also interested in going to Europe in the fall. Obviously, I am not sure how long it'll take to get my green card, so I'm sure I should list these trip ideas here, but not sure of the dates?

I see that there are examples of the I-131 that simply state that the travel date is unknown. Is that even acceptable? Or should I ballpark it? How have you handled this?

I know I should send this I-131 in with the rest of the AOS bundle to avoid incurring fees later when I'd need to file it separately.

Help?

As you are adjusting status, that is sufficient reason to apply for the I131 and you do not need to provide any information about your future travel or the reason why you are applying for the travel permit.

You do not need to state a reason for travel or a destination country.

At the bottom of page of 2 it states this : If you are applying for a non-DACA related Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7

An adjustment applicant does not fill out Part 4 stating a reason and purpose of their travels, and you do not need to supply the extra statement.

Yes, people get approved just putting Unknown, but you could also follow the instructions and put N/A for things that are not applicable.
