Biometric appointment

Hey everyone,

We sent in our package (I130, I485, I131, I765) to the Chicago priority mail address on the 1st of April 2016 got receipt text on the 5th and the hard copy NOA on the 9th. The priority date is 4th of April. My concern is that I haven't received biometric appointment yet. from most timelines here I see that one usually gets it within a couple of weeks and I am drawing close to almost a month since they received our package.

Any input would be much appreciated

Hopefully you should be getting it this week might take 3-4weeks sometimes.

I almost deleted the post because I thought that I should wait a bit more before asking. Can't help but get antsy when you see timelines from application to approval of just 150 days etc

Patience. I know it's hard. But let the them work.

I would ring. I didn't receive a biometrics letter and only chased it when 3 months was up. Thusly my i765 is now outside normal processing.

They'll normally have to open a service request for an officer to look into it and it can take 30 days for them to reply.

I've come to the conclusion that it's best to bug these people as much as possible because if you don't they will mess up your case

You have to call USCIS after 45 days and let them know you haven't received it

We are in the same shoe. We've filed on 4/5/2016 and received my NOA1 on 4/16/2015. Nothing on biometric yet.

That's crazy, we have the exact same dates as you. same priority date got our bio metrics within a day of you.Also Concurrent filing.
