Dear friends,

My name is Ana and I got married in US with a American citizen in June 2015. In August I had to leave US to work and when I returned to US the immigration did now allowed me because I was already married with a American citizen and also they look at my phone and found an e-mail relating with renting a house. My intention was not to stay in US at that moment but they did not understand that, and they did not allowed me in US as I was considered to be an applying immigrant. The immigration officer offered me a application to withdrawn which I accepted. I got back to Brazil and my husband stayed in US, on August 27th 2015 he applied for a CR-1 visa to USCIS. In September 2015 we planned a trip to Bahamas, which did not work well.. Right after my plane landed, my name was announced and again they did not allowed me to get into the country and the justification was that Bahamas has a treaty with US not allowing people that have been refuse in US. In January 4th 2016 our case was accepted in USCIS and moved to NVC. Right after that we paid all the taxes and on March 10th we sent the documents to NVC by e-mail. On March 30th the NVC answer back asking for the civil police report as I have forgotten about it. On April 1st we sent the missing document. My question is about a necessity of a waiver form relating to the Bahamas situation. After consulting a Brazilian lawyer she told me that I will need a special waiver form to take to the interview and she charged $2.500 for that. Does anybody know about this? Thank you all in advance..

I had a similar situation... Even with Bahamas!!! Lol (but I got in Bahamas! I made a hassle with them... It was my marriage!!!)

Once you had a withdrawal you don't need anything. You are really ok.

Probably the waiver that your lawyer said is just when you are removed.

;)

I´LL START TO LIVE BACK AGAIN WHEN I´LL BE ON MY HUBBY´S ARMS, FOREVER AND EVER. UNTIL THERE, I DON´T LIVE. I SURVIVE. (L)
