Hi Everyone,

I am scheduled to do my K1 Visa interview in Vancouver on May 10th. After receiving notice that all of our paperwork was accepted initially (at the I-129f level), my fiance and I noticed a couple errors on the G325A form in regards to his work history dates (just minor-mainly due to hiring date versus actual start date). We never received an RFE. As a result of us noticing the mistakes, we had to add in a couple more lines on the supplemental page, but shift most of our dates down a couple times. We have since created a cover letter outlining the mistakes, and have a prepared new form with the corrections. Unfortunately, because the mistakes were early on in the work history and we had to shift down all of the dates, the cover letter is 2.5 pages long because we went line by line explaining that everything was shifted down and what should be on that certain line. Is this going to be a red flag if I still mention that it was because of this shifting that the cover letter is so long? Also, the employer letter we have, as well as the HR email we have, supports the mistakes we corrected, so we are not worried about the validity of them.

My question is, when would be the appropriate time to give this to the consular officer during the interview? I understand that there are a couple times when someone is brought to a window to supply the appropriate forms, but I would like to do this in the smoothest way possible, so they also have enough time to view the form.

Has anyone been in this same boat and had to supply a corrected form before?

Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

First if all - your I129F was approved and you claim it was only minor mistakes - so breathe and relax. If you really feel you want to correct the mistake, I would provide the updated form with cover letter alongside the other I134 information, as the employment history is somewhat relevant to that...

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

I believe the DS-160 fixes all that. It has you list your work history correct? Dates really are no issue. But you can surely mention to CO you had some date errors n your G-325A But you put the corrected info on your DS-160. They will appreciate your honesty.

Sorry, just to clarify. They are mistakes on his (the petitioner's) G325A, not mine. My dates are fine. The DS-160 only asks for the work history of me, not him unfortunately, so I can't correct it there.
