Hi!! New Member Needing Advice on a K-1 Visa

Hello, everyone. My name is Scotty, and my foreign fiance and I are trying to plan our timing for everything, so we are married on time.

So my question is this. With the understanding that the K-1 Visa is good for six months and that I would need to marry her before 90 days upon her entry into the U.S., what if the six month period on the visa expires after she entered the U.S. but before the 90-day mandate for the marriage is up?

I guess in part to that question, do we need to do anything if that happens?

The visa is good 6 months from the medical not the interview. So if your medical is 2 months before your interview your visa will be made so it expires 6 months from the medical and 4 months left on it from the interview

The 90 days don't start until she enters the country.

The visa expires the minute she lands in the U.S., no matter what date is in it. Legal residence is given by a stamp by border patrol from there on out, that's the 90 days.
