After I-130 approval waiting time??

Hello!
We are doing DCF in Athens Greece.
We got our I-130s approved on the 5th April. We sent emails requesting our case numbers but they keep telling us to wait.
We told them several times we want to request an expedite due my husband's (USC) failing health and the fact we live in Greece where you know probably how terrible things are, he has no health care.
They keep blowing us off. The condition my husband has is life threatening.

They told us they DO have our approved petitions (I-130) and they will send us an e-mail with instructions... but two weeks later and nothing, all the while he is getting worse and worse.
How long does it take after I-130 approval for that darn e-mail to be sent out???
We even discussed him leaving on his own but he can't leave me alone with 3 small kids. We have no friends or family around to help and I am the only one who works. Without him I wouldn't be able to go to work (I do not make enough to hire a child minder).

We will write to them again. I don't know what else to do

You just started the process, unfortunately the process is a long one luckly you are with your husband, some of us are not. I dont know if they will consider that your husband is ill. After the i-130 gets approve it takes a good month for nvc to receive your case and assign you a case number.

She is doing DCF so won't take that long.

Have you provided them with a statement from a doctor so show how his condition is and that's it is getting worse?

No we have not yet as we keep ASKING them what exactly is it they need from us (doctor's notice, other paper etc) and they are giving us generic replies like wait until we get back to you via email.

We got our I-130s approved in 6 days technically. Except they needed a different copy of his divorce which set us back a good couple months (he was divorced in Germany). Once they got it, we had our official approval the next day.

They told us DCF would be really fast as nothing goes out of the country. The NVC never gets involved. We are paper ready, we are just waiting for the case number so we can fill out the DS-260 and schedule the medical.
