Political system in US is trash.

I believe the actual voting process--the counting of ballots--to be above board, accurate, reliable. But, the weight of those votes, the electoral system, delegates, it's all extremely complex and completely unnecessary.

I still don't understand why a president who has to represent all people is voted in by a system that weights votes. It should be a popular vote. It's mathematically possible for a person who has 26% of the vote against 74% of hits competitor to actually beat the competitor because the first only just edges out wins in enough states to win by electoral college and get 0 votes in other states. Theoretical, but it's ridiculous.

Seems most agree on that count, regardless of party: http://www.gallup.com/poll/159881/americans-call-term-limits-end-electoral-college.aspx

The whole primary system is a joke. Either they should allow people the opportunity to vote or just go back to choosing a candidate at the candidate at the convention, and stop making it impossible for people outside the establishment to take part in choosing who is going to be the next President.

Not surprised Denmark and Finland are amongst the top. People in their country are so educated and they believe in helping their people. In Denmark you receive 900/month for going to school.

The liberal elite ... know that the people simply cannot be trusted; that they are incapable of just and fair self-government; that left to their own devices, their society will be racist, sexist, homophobic, and inequitable -- and the liberal elite know how to fix things. The taxes are high but oddly most of the people in Denmark report being just fine with them. And the gap between the rich and the poor in Denmark makes the US gap look pretty much like the travesty that it is. Your little meme goes off the rails into fantasy land by the last paragraph.

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
