Hello,

Can someone help me where to go from here. We had our AOS interview yesterday and case must be reviewed. The officer asked me why I still dont have my EAD. I just said i really dont know, the status in USCIS is still in CASE RECEIVED status since Dec 2015, same status with the application for travel document.

If it's been more 90 days since applying, you can schedule an infoPass appointment to talk to a CO about why it's been pending for so long.

Hey guys,

Can someone please give me advice. I'm still waiting for my EAD , during the interview i told the truth that I'm still working illegally while waiting for my EAD.

I know i should stop working but I really cant we wont be able to survive paying all our bills. My wife is also working but what she earns not really enough. I'm just

worried this might affect our case.

Thanks

If you had a financial burden, then you could've requested an expedite on your EAD by evidencing that without your ability to work, you and your family will have financial hardship.

I'm not sure how working illegally may affect your case.

Thank you very much for the reply. Just lot of things going on in my mind. I will talk to our lawyer about your suggestion. Its already 4 months since they received my EAD application but still CASE RECEIVED status. Hoping our interview will be approve.

Hello again,

Can someone please advise since I need all your opinion. We just got an RFE today and one of the requirements that they are asking me is to send my Federal Income Tax W2 for the last 3 years. I already told the interviewer that I'm working illegally and just paid via cash deposit to my bank account and even showed it to her. The reason for this is that I don't have anything with me but only my passport. Honestly, I never also dare to try to apply and pay taxes via IRS because of my status and I have no idea how those works. And I never used anyone social security or others information at all.

How will i be able to respond to this? It is said that If I missed any of the requested documentation, the application will be adjudicated on its merits. I'm not sure what does it mean.

Thank you.
