I love ferrets. I used to take the kiddo to the pet store too. Gkad to know you guys had a good day

Gracias, Niki-B. ma'am. Mini-B. saw the ferret curled up asleep and asked if they slept during the day and awoke at night, like his big sister the cat, miu man. We had no immediate answer, wrack brain fruitlessly man.

1. I probably lost a couple of pounds.

1. Our anemic "cold" appetite, plus mow-lawning today (q.v. report, see man), has lost us Many pounds, boon man.

2. Here, duh and :bonk: man.

when's my next vacation.....

It's continuous, eyeroll man.

Turns out my FIL has the same issue as my husband and my ex... the "lets book the tickets at the last moment and pay the most amount humanly possible" syndrome.

When we learn of an upcoming event, trip, or whatever, we begin searching & researching immediately, even up to a year in advance, not everyone like your menfolk Niki-B. ma'am.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Our Many-lb weight-loss has dropped us below the Mendoza Line again, specifically man.

We were just about to stand up when cat launched her corpulent self into our lap, affectionate miu man.

As the younger Mini-B. used to say, "She's soft & juicy," miu man.

We could never take her to Ecu because she'd probably be eaten, much meat miu man.

Furthermore, it's nearly impossible to find cat food there, even in the mall pet stores man.

In this way, Ecu is a Many'rd-world country, evolve already man.

Sunday report, see man:

Awoke too early after bad night, waste of sleep effort man.

'Twas raining, forget mow-lawning man.

Mrs. T-B. dropped Mini-B. at Mama T-B.'s, she drop wee with senior she man.

We groggily read Sunday paper, stare blankly man.

Mrs. T-B. returned Mini-B. from Mama T-B.'s, she bring wee from senior she man.

We not hungry for lunch, no ingest man.

Mrs. T-B. took Mini-B. to "Angry Birds" movie with amiga & little colleague, see man.

A/C installer came to collect check, bye bye $Many man.

However, for that $Many, we extracted concessions, si man.

Guy installed Lennox condenser unit/coil, not lousy Ruud or Goodman, no-Good Ruudness man.

He also put in a digital thermostat, no extra charge man.

Because renters have newborn, he worked from Many to Many p.m., same-day job man.

Despite cost of $Many, we are pleased with the outcome, si man.

After A/C guy left, we noticed changed weather, see we man.

Rain yielded to bright sunshine with nice breeze, dry out lawn man.

We decided to mow front yard, take Heap Strong medicine first man.

Job completed without incident, glee man.

Navigated mower over lagoon between front & back yards to mow back, ambitious man.

Job just about killed us, dead Tark walking man.

Took us Many hours & a 1.Many-hour nap to recover somewhat, ouch man.

However, yard looks like greens at Augusta National, whee man.

Many laundry loads, week's lunches, shirt/tie selection, & dishing the warsher subdued, all man.

Must now de-dish the warsher, cat has abdicated lap man.

At least it wasn't Fat boy's wife's "let's mix up the departure and arrival locations" syndrome, and then re-book with the "let's get 6 AM flights both ways" syndrome.

I had to call Staten island to get l an appointment for today.

I thought the post office quit doing that.
