Returned Mini-B. to casa, return wee man.

Mrs. T-B. took Mini-B. to little amigo's casa, mutually delighted wee men.

We vanquished remaining Many laundry loads, mandatory Sunday man.

One included the semimonthly ironing, egad man.

For lunch, Tiff Mrs. T-B. had left us chicken with (home-made) French fries, ingest man.

Napped for over an hour, necessary/restorative zzz man.

Picked shirts/ties for week, sartorial we man.

Made first Many lunches for week, job of husband man.

Dished the warsher, necessary yet again man.

All chores finished by Many (2x2x2) p.m., ahead of power curve man.

I wish I could help on the patchy lawn problem NLR. We have it too this year and haven't found a solution. I also lost most of my Delosperma in the garden.. so I think both is weather related.

They do that so it's less than if you sued.

Ours is definitely weather related. It's hard to grow anything here except weeds. They grow super well!

Today was free comic day. In town there's a comic shop that was having a bit of a block party to raise money and food for charity and give away comics. A lot of cosplay and such. Hubby and I were heading down there and stopped at a traffic light when we both see (in mental slow motion) the biggest idiot ever plow into the back of our tiny car. They didn't even try to slow down. Of course tons of excuses about why they just couldn't stop. A lot of damage to our car of course, and husband keeps wanting me to go to the ER to get checked out as I'm hurting a lot... but I just don't see the point. Whiplash is a given, not much they'll do for it. Needless to say I feel bad there's a bag of canned goods that we ended up not donating today nor did we get to see Batman hug a Stormtrooper. Stupid people driving.

My lawn looks like a steaming pile of something. It was pretty much just weeds when we bought the house and we've got such a short growing season that it can be hard to rectify. I think we need to hand pull all the weeds or just re-sod the whole thing.

Bigger problem this year is that I am sure that there is some poison ivy in my flower beds and last time I got it, it was all over my body and my eyes. I need steroids to treat it. I am so scared of even touching it again for fear it might be worse.

Round up the entire yard, water the heck out of it in 2 days and put down grass seed. Include the poison ivy filled flower beds. New flowers are better than getting poison ivy.

That might work. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the weeds are round up resistant. Pretty much all of the farmers nearby use genetical modified crops.
