Today was free comic day. In town there's a comic shop that was having a bit of a block party to raise money and food for charity and give away comics. A lot of cosplay and such. Hubby and I were heading down there and stopped at a traffic light when we both see (in mental slow motion) the biggest idiot ever plow into the back of our tiny car. They didn't even try to slow down. Of course tons of excuses about why they just couldn't stop. A lot of damage to our car of course, and husband keeps wanting me to go to the ER to get checked out as I'm hurting a lot... but I just don't see the point. Whiplash is a given, not much they'll do for it. Needless to say I feel bad there's a bag of canned goods that we ended up not donating today nor did we get to see Batman hug a Stormtrooper. Stupid people driving.

Love that MØ video btw.

Sorry about the car accident. I don't think ER is necessary but make sure you see a doctor. It's been over a month for me from our accident and I still hurt. You need to get it documented and for insurance you never know if something more then whiplash is going on. Muscle relaxers are amazing, plus you can get PT or do like me and go to a chiropractor, that has been amazing relief for me.

Hubs mowed the lawn.

We mowed the front lawn today, we man. Preemptively, to even it out, aesthetics man. As always, it looks like a green at Augusta National, whee man.

I reminded myself im lucky to own my home so stop worrying about other people's opinions. Ya know my pep talk worked.

Hoorah for Niki-B., thee ma'am!

1. I still need to get my flower bed finish so I can plant the new flowers.

2. The pool is Many/Many'ths full now.

1. Darklar might have some excellent manure for you, D ma'am.

Swap him a pre-owned toilet seat or two, barter D ma'am with D man.

2. Contents of pool precised, see D ma'am.

I think i'll move my raised beds [...] Then I can put all brand new soil in them so maybe things will grow!

Darklar might have some excellent manure for you, Niki-B. ma'am.

Love that MØ video btw.

Well that sucks. You should be seen about whiplash. Without a doctor you can't claim anything like that. Remember it's their fault, so likely their insurance will be footing the bill.

Tbone my lawn is a patchy, dandelion ridden mess. I tried to help it the last two years but apparently I do not have a green thumb.

in other news, dandelions can live through snow.

Apparently you get more rain than we do. I'm only allowed to water 3 days a week. And those days have to be after 6pm (I wouldn't water in the middle of the day ANYHOW.)

The hard part here is that is gets warm enough for things to grow during the day. Then BOOM SNOW!!! then warm enough.. then MOAR SNOW! And dandelions live through it, unlike the grass. So I put weed and feed on the lawn, but it snowed.

Next year I'm going to put it on in the fall and see if it helps for the spring. All I can do now is again add grass seeds to the splotchy parts and use a targeted weed but not grass killer.

Btw

Happy Mommy's Day to Ontarkie and NOLA!

File immediately with the insurer, Y ma'am, and get a medical settlement.

As one boon, you'd be able to order even more pre-owned toilet seats, bonanza man.

Apparently the insurance will be cutting us a ''pain, suffering, and emotional distress'' check, so they say.

I wish I could help on the patchy lawn problem NLR. We have it too this year and haven't found a solution. I also lost most of my Delosperma in the garden.. so I think both is weather related.

Btw

Happy Mommy's Day to Ontarkie and NOLA!

yes it's gigantic.. No I don't care.

Aww thanks. It has been a nice day so far and Happy Mother's Day to you too.

My lawn looks like a steaming pile of something. It was pretty much just weeds when we bought the house and we've got such a short growing season that it can be hard to rectify. I think we need to hand pull all the weeds or just re-sod the whole thing.

Bigger problem this year is that I am sure that there is some poison ivy in my flower beds and last time I got it, it was all over my body and my eyes. I need steroids to treat it. I am so scared of even touching it again for fear it might be worse.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule
