07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm saying that kind of deductible is typical of any phone insurance.

Oh you got to tha point aftet that post. Lol.

Yesterday sucked. I finally got the phone done tho. Hubs mowed the lawn. Apparently hes angry at me because he lost something and its my fault. He says he didnt even know it came in but i know he did!

Ive decided to stop being annoyed about people coming to my house. I keep worrying it wont live up to other people's standards but i shouldnt care. They dont live here, i do. I like my house. Im not rich so we fix it up a little bit at a time.

I reminded myself im lucky to own my home so stop worrying about other people's opinions. Ya know my pep talk worked.

I'm going to go get strawberries later. It's been crazy here, and I still need to get my flower bed finish so I can plant the new flowers.

The pool is 3/4 full now.

I wish it was nice enough for a pool! LOL!!!

I think i'll move my raised beds to the other side of the yard where they can get some shade too... they're kinda in the way where they are to be honest. Then I can put all brand new soil in them so maybe things will grow!

No Colorado rock garden for you? Just plant some succulents in the rocks and it will be all good.

Today was free comic day. In town there's a comic shop that was having a bit of a block party to raise money and food for charity and give away comics. A lot of cosplay and such. Hubby and I were heading down there and stopped at a traffic light when we both see (in mental slow motion) the biggest idiot ever plow into the back of our tiny car. They didn't even try to slow down. Of course tons of excuses about why they just couldn't stop. A lot of damage to our car of course, and husband keeps wanting me to go to the ER to get checked out as I'm hurting a lot... but I just don't see the point. Whiplash is a given, not much they'll do for it. Needless to say I feel bad there's a bag of canned goods that we ended up not donating today nor did we get to see Batman hug a Stormtrooper. Stupid people driving.
