doing laundry.

I'll be going back to Canada in the summer

FYI I'm totally not looking forward to my husband's best friend, his wife, their son, and their standard poodle living in my house for an unknown period of time. This little boy will be staying in my daughter's room apparently, which I'll be honest, bugs me the most. It's HER room and I don't mind someone staying there for a night, but I don't want this little ####### staying in there. He wrecks things in a sneaky manner. His parents don't discipline him very well but when they do he's getting yelled at and a spanking. That's why he's sneaky. They don't exercise their dog, and I don't want my yard covered in dog and the grass dead from him peeing on it. It's a tiny yard as it is! Hubs decided all this. Didn't talk about it. I knew the friend would be staying here but not the rest of them.

I keep calm enough by saying it'll be a really short time until they get a new house to buy. Hopefully their house sells fast and they don't have the same issues we did buying a new one!

OMG.

notice of eviction... what does this mean... really?!

Like people on here, what does this letter mean NOA1? I'm approved?! What does "we sent this to the department of state" mean?! omg! I'm freaking out! Like did you READ the thing? If you can't understand that simple bit of language, go back to school.

Unless yer dyslexic. Then you're fine. I get that letters are scrambled and it's not an understanding issue, it's a "I literally can't read this because my brain sucks at making letters work properly."

oh ya you should read what my brain processes sometimes. Heck it adds words that aren't even on the page.

OMG No way put a lock on your daughters door. He can stay with his parents where ever they are plopping themselves. They get too comfortable they won't leave anytime soon.

Since your husband made that decision without you then you make the decision to lock the kiddo's door.

My neighbor comes to me with a notice of eviction, "what does this mean?"

I said, it means you have a week to get out before the city marshal comes to throw you out.

"But my husband said he went to landlord tenant court"

I said, "says here he lost by default, that means he didn't show up".

The get what they deserve.

He wanted to give them privacy... I get that he and I would want privacy, but the dude has apparently been growing his beard for 2 weeks and his wife hasn't gotten close enough to decide if she is annoyed by the feel of it. :sleepy: Why in my house? I have enough drama for the two of us as it is.... sigh....

This will be me... :clock::ranting::pop::no::rolleyes:<_<:wacko::help::help::help: All while looking like this... :)

Well hubs stayed with them from Oct 2011 to March or April 2012. I don't mind them staying as much as I worry about them staying. I worry that my house will be a mess and I'll have to always be cleaning. I worry my things will be broken. I worry that my house will be a mess and his wife will be judgmental about it. I worry about food, cooking, cleaning, etc... I worry about my own privacy. I worry I'll argue with hubs and people will be here to see it. It's funny because I don't care if people I don't know see us argue, but I care about people we know. Hell I even worry that they won't like my house or it's not nice enough... Some of it's dumb. Hubs said he would pitch in more to clean and he understands it'll be stressful for me. I really need him to clean up his area, the basement where they will be staying. I'm overly organized about some things, and he's chaotic. It's fine when we have our own spaces but now we'll be sharing spaces with others and that's stressful for me. Even when the kiddo isn't cleaning up after herself I get stressed out because it's change. I assume over time I'd get used to it all. I'm not a spontaneous person.

Tiff gave the nanny a 100 dollar a month raise. She gave up the idea of Flushing NY really quick.

Uh huh...I hate people that beats around the Bush.

I would have called her bluff. But I don't want to come off as being like Tark (cheap).

in the grand scheme of things $100 a month isn't much. But why not just ask for a raise instead of all this bologna about another job.

Yeah, exactly. I'm sure someone from flushing really wanted to hire her. Ok, and maybe for 300 more, ok. But don't try to use that as leverage to get a raise here.

She should have came right out and asked for more. I would have given it to her.

But now I know she's not loyal. And I'm going to look around for a new nanny.

Now where did that "and" on the top come from....

Parents are in the basement then the kid stays in the basement too. They will never be bothered to get off the butt to watch him and your daughters room will be destroyed. It is her room if she was there full time it would be off limits and nobody would even ask. So why is it ok because she's not there.

Nope would not happen. Lock her room she deserves to have her space left the way she left it.

Btw they won't be here until August. I plan on my child being here ALL of august! HA! I will have some time to wrap my brain about it all anyhow. When I'm stressed I tend to clean too.

in other news, my fridge is clean. I'm doing laundry. The dishwasher is clean. And we have no food. LOL
