Thelma and Louise pics now!

That you gotta ask Asia....

Right now, she's like a female Borat on the loose...

Oh boy! You married a kid, deal with it! You still love her...hence the rant.

Best wishes.

100 bucks.

I'd leave in a second.

And, how's Londonstan? The mayor over there thinks that London isn't a part of England...

That's what I meant, he wants London to break off England. In other words, Londonstan.

She already took it. I paid 2000 bucks and I don't even have 1 single picture of the kid dancing. Not once have I ever seen her dance. And, the kid is bored of it. I (and many others) trashed these people on yelp. The dance school changed hands. I give it another year, it's the worst ever.

Would you take your kid to karate school if you can't watch him do karate?

Eta. Ballet is excellent for posture.

The Marines is good for posture.

Negotiate what? She'd fight with me on something else.

If I pointed to my silver Honda and said,"that car is silver". Tiff would say, "no it's gray".

Been there. As I said negotiate.. Tell tiff to pay for future lessons, if she wants the kids to continue. Don't get what you are whining about! She is making you pay out of guilt-ha ha! Be tough.

And, how's Londonstan? The mayor over there thinks that London isn't a part of England...

I read an opinion piece that I wholewheartedly agree with and that is that wealthy Londoners basically view the rest of England as not important and uneducated losers. Pretty much everyone I know who is British on facebook or lives there (mostly spoiled brats), have been going on and on about how everyone who wants to leave is racist and stupid. Yeah, umm, ok.... so the majority of English people are racist and stupid you say? Maybe you should go live somewhere else.

As a country, England went 53.2% Leave. If it weren't for Scotland and Northern Ireland, the vote would have been more definitive. If you take London out of the mix, it is abundantly clear that the English (not the UK citizens, but just the English), really want to leave. Most of the North is coming in at about 60% leave.

Just look at this map.

Point is, she has to fight with me on anything I say.

In regards to dancing. Last time the kid took dancing lessons, the ###### school she chose wouldn't even let the parents watch her dance. I mentioned it here.

Why the #### am I paying the school? To train me an Olympic dancer? Or to watch my daughter dance?

The kid didn't like it. Then it was piano (because tiff saw her friends daughter play piano). the kid didn't like it. She likes violin. The school teaches her that. I teach her how to read music.

I said, the kid has been on the honor roll every month since kindergarten. Why don't you tell your friends to follow suit on that!

She's ###### worried about what other people's kid knows how to do. All I said was, why must you do what other people do? She starts denying it. But when you come to me with a FB page in hand, and say, "look, I want this for the kid"...I asked her, are you doing this for the kid? Or you're doing this for you?

Then I asked the kid, "do you want ballet lessons?" A crisp "No", was the answer.

Not too mention, tiff can't even get outta ###### bed till noon. Who the #### is going to take the kid to dance class?

What do I give a #### what Tiff's friends want to do with their kids. I'm letting my kid be a kid. And she's happy.

Now, am I that far off when I say she's ###### retarded?

And her friends, all come to me for help. But tiff is too stupid to see, that she's on the top of the food chain.

Now, her idiot friend PC's husband, he wants to lease a car. It was mentioned to me a few days ago. Now he's on his own. #### him.

Tiff knows everything, she can go lease a car for him.

Maybe if tiff had to pay rent, she'd understand life a little better.

Our maybe if she sees one of her friends drop everything and run off with me, she'd finally learn a lesson.

She kind of sounds like a classic teenager. I wish I could sleep in till noon with kids. :dead: They tend to wake up when my husband leaves for work in the morning.

Got asked to sign a petition to raise minimum wage yesterday. Can't vote, so can't sign, but would if I could. Mainly because I don't believe minimum wage is on par with the cost of living right now.

However, I thought about it the effect an overall raise would have on the economy and on people as individuals. I agree that minimum wage needs to be raised, BUT (and this is a big BUT) for that to be effective, the price of everything else would need to be held firm including the difference in current salaries.

For example: I don't make minimum wage but I know they want to raise it to more than I do make. This would mean that someone new would be starting at a higher wage than me which the company can't do, and also because I have to be making minimum wage too. Now those years I've spent, working my butt off, trying to get my raises has gone down the drain. Someone new now makes what I do. (Trust me, it's not the first time it's happened.) If you think about it, that's not particularly fair.

I do get that life isn't fair by the way, and I would also benefit from a higher wage, but that isn't the point. I've put time and effort into getting where I am and now the company can throw that out the window.

The other main problem with raising minimum wage is, and always has been, the eventual inflation to the cost of living. Raise minimum wage and gradually housing prices raise (especially rent), food prices raise, gas prices raise... You see where I'm going with this? To keep your raised minimum wage from landing you back in to the same spot you are now, making less than the cost of living, the government would have to involve itself greatly into everything with laws and checks to make sure you don't end up exactly where you are now.

I know a lot of people don't like the amount of influence the government has in their life already. So the question is... Would you raise minimum wage to have the government have more control over the world around you? You may not see how it effects you, but it does. The big picture is easy to see. Raising minimum wage helps people down low, but without the government stepping in to stop corporations and landlords from raising their prices, it's really the corporations who end up making more money by raising the prices. Do they really need to do that when they make billions of dollars a year? Couldn't they afford to pay the increased wages without raising the prices? I'm sure many certainly could. People with more money to spare tend to spend more so likely they'd have increased sales. But what about the small stores? Would people shop at them more often? Would they have to raise their prices? Just some interesting questions without answers.
