So I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here.

Partly.

I don't think Polish immigrants are taking any jobs from the UK people.

And I don't think they're bleeding England dry of benefits. They're not sitting at home, doing nothing, but working hard for the UK budget and economy.

But I think there should not be any benefits available.

And I also think that they should deport all theforeign prisoners to their homecountries.

So yeah... Let the UK bring visas and deport people, who supposedly took the jobs from the UKers. We'll see if the British people would work their jobs :P

My husband agrees with you, by the way. He thinks the Polish and other EU workers sometimes work harder and better than the locals and that is why they get the jobs.

However, in a time when people in their 20s and 30s who are blue collar struggle to be able to afford and find housing, that is not the time to be allowing in people who are in saturation employment areas, in my opinion.

So as you can see I'm online, so it seems like I landed safely on your part of the world :)

It's quite warm in LA, and we got a really nice car-Ford Escape, so life's good :P

Have a nice afternoon! :)

I'm glad you got a nice car. I'm wondering what my VW GOLF equivalent that was $300 for two weeks is going to look like when we get to Copenhagen. It'll probably actually look like a golf cart.

Because everything is so outta the way for you guys in that half-a-horse town...

We do have an optometrist closer, but my husband likes to get his hair cut far away and they had an appointment there today, so there we went.

I don't really think of it as a long way away necessarily when you think about the lack of traffic and that people in CT and NY routinely commute that far. My mother commutes further than us, I think.

Asia shoulda booked a Yukon!

Man that car was made for like this...

As troublesome as my Yukon is. On a road trip, it's the king.

And there's the "feel good" factor also. When the kids are wrapped by 6500 lbs of steel. I feel at ease.

One a these days I'll replace it with a new Yukon.

Denali

XL

Black

Black car, not black card...

Look it's Niki. We haven't see you for weeks man...

Anyway, my Yukon is a Denali XL. The trim is very luxurious. Even the rear seats are heated. 2 air systems, etc... It has a 6.0 engine, and had an optional 8.4 liter.

The trim below, the LTE is just as good for hauling. But it's not quite as nice inside.

If you really need to haul, you get the Yukon 2500.

And if you really really need to do real work, you get a Ford. Like the hillbilly's F750 lol.

Ford will practically custom build a truck to suit your needs.

And don't forget, I do trailer around my ATVs for maintenance, repair, etc...

And I have that beat up old camper, that I move around the property once every couple of years. So it doesn't look like someone lives in there, which nobody does anyway...

Troph, I think the brexit vote had a lot to do with the Muslims. But I won't talk about it here. It borders on 2 things that we don't discuss here.

I'm sure everyone had their own reasons for how they voted. What they really were, we will never know.

I think the real one to blame would be Merkel.

The Germans are always at fault, right?

Painting this swingset sucks.

a) I know this

b) I know this

c) no you wouldn't

d) overkill

e)I KNOW THIS

I realize you get the denali for the trim, but I don't get the point. Then again you have the money to spend on it. For what it's worth, originally Denali was because of the turning radius (Quadasteer) and extra HP and torque which made hauling, easier.

I wouldn't get a Yukon 2500 to haul. There's no bed and a goose neck or 5th wheel is the way to go with anything heavy. An f750 is overkill... even the horse farm I worked for in California with more money than sense had F550 quadcabs. They would haul to OKC with those.

Also.... I don't want a ford.

The Yukon never had a quadsteer...

The Yukon is a great car for dual use.

Hey every dream car is a F750!

And, when did you work in a California farm?

How dare you not mention it to us in the past...

Well the Denali trucks have quadrasteer, so that makes the yukon denali basically an escalade without the badge. At least it wouldn't get stolen quite as much.

My internship was in California. Back then you didn't need a bunch of paperwork, and I wasn't being paid.
