Looks like Brexit might happen.

And why, may I ask, are you so happy about this?

The markets bet on "Remain". They lost. They're gonna take a dive now.

The worthless Euro is taking a dive too, if you wanna go visit europe.

Asia's lucky. If she changed dollars today, she get even less for her Dinars....

Well we are going to Europe in a little over a week.

I don't have investments because I don't believe in playing roulette with my money.

I am happy because the UK to EU was like America to GB pre-Revolution. Taxation without real representation, etc.

Plus, I had always wanted to move back to England, I love Yorkshire next to the Dales, but the amount of EU immigrants made England terrible. No offense to Asia, but Polish immigrants have been taking traditional working class jobs and bleeding England dry of benefits for a long time by doing things like taking child benefit for children back in Poland when it would be many times over the assistance they would receive actually in Poland.

The NHS has also been crumbling under the sheer volume of people and inability to procure enough foreign workers from non-EU countries.

Went to the eye doctor and even though I feel like my vision has gotten worse, it isn't bad enough for glasses for distance.

I did however have to get a reading glasses prescription because my eyes need different magnifications. So much fun paying 8 times the price for reading glasses. :sleepy:

How far did you drive to get to the eye doctor?

I didn't drive, the Dane drove me. ;)

He already worked 47 hours this week so he had today off.

ok, how far did Dutch have to drive you to get to the eye doctor.....

A half mile out of our way, why?

And now I see that I probably can get them cheaper than $100 online, maybe more like 39. I am sure I will need a replacement pair at some point.

So I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here.

Partly.

I don't think Polish immigrants are taking any jobs from the UK people.

And I don't think they're bleeding England dry of benefits. They're not sitting at home, doing nothing, but working hard for the UK budget and economy.

But I think there should not be any benefits available.

And I also think that they should deport all theforeign prisoners to their homecountries.

So yeah... Let the UK bring visas and deport people, who supposedly took the jobs from the UKers. We'll see if the British people would work their jobs :P
