We were reminiscing about Father's Day Many (2+1) years ago, reflect man.

Mini-B. was 2-&-a-half years old, wee man.

We took him out on Father's Day, we take wee man.

Our first stop was a GS, Sunday man.

We promised to get Mini-B. some books, we read to wee man.

We found 2, good ones man; Mini-B. delighted, glee wee man.

We asked the proprietors how much, cost man.

They smiled and said "Take them," nice man.

Our second stop was a little park with a play-area, serendipity man.

It was very hot, sweat man.

Mini-B. periodically asked us to sweep (invisible) hormigas off his feet, we sweep wee man.

We think that he was gauging whether he could rely on Daddy to protect him, wee man.

Our Many'rd stop was a Burger King, lunch man.

We ordered a hamburger & French fries with ketchup for Mini-B., major food groups man.

We got BOGO Whoppers for ourself, coupon man.

We fed Mini-B., proficient we man.

We both took only "big bites" and got covered in sauce, male bonding man.

Before selling POTSs, we hit a GS this morn, good planning man.

Despite roadway turtles, we indeed returned casa-ward in time to mow lawn, daylight hours man.

We made it through almost without killing ourself, precipice man.

In other news, my daughter was hand picked for the grade 8 advanced art class at her middle school. She was VERY excited. I took a lot of art in school and really haven't done much with it in a long time besides amateur photography. But I'm proud of her for getting good grades, even in French, and getting into an advanced class. Im not sure what the requirements are beyond showing creativity, the class isnt one you can normally register for.
