That's what Id do too honestly. Your husband would likely end up puttin on a crooked roof that leaks. I dunno whats worse, someone who cant fix things or someone who can and doesnt?

Im sorry you cant go to Canada this year. I know how you feel! I cant either because we need a/c and hubs cant seem to save money. I love our jeep but sometimes i want to just sell it to get out from the payments. I think he'd just spend that money though. I dunno how he saved 60k on Guam....

Yes that is just it, he would try to do it and would get frustrated because I would have to keep him in check then it would be me and the boy finishing it like the flooring.

We need a lot of work done on this house. One of the reasons I told him not to buy it, never mind listen to me when I told him they were asking for too much. But I wasn't here and he bought the house before we were.

I told him his realtor screwed him over because he should have had his back with making a deal, the guy should have got the roof fixed as part of that deal.

He also just spent 2k on building a computer, so I don't feel bad at all.

I have put away 1800 for my roof fund hidden in my drawer :P
