And why not use the shotgun in the pickmeuptruck if she was going to?

An air nailer looks better......

Remember,

"It's not about perception, it's about the way it looks....."

Said a dope.

Now you're tripling the price of a new hillbilly ruff (roof).......

you can get 2 air nailers, decent ones, for 3 hunnit, you can buy the whole set for 3 hunnit. Fiddy for adapters and hoses. A compressor for 1 fiddy. May be 2000 materials, sheathing and fasteners included. Around 25 hunnit will get your job done if you do it.

8- 10 grand to hire rednecks.....

Yes the price will go up majorly but I don't care he should have fixed it when I told him.

It's just to big of a job for me now. I can't deal with the kids and teach him how to do it, plus this heat and humidity is crazy.

It's not just a few parts of the decking that need to be replaced it's the decking of the entire roof. Then insulation to be replaced because the roof leaked in multiple spots.

Just hope the trusses and the rafters haven't started rotting. Wood rots fast here so we could have issues there too.

yep, rooking isn't that hard if you know what you're doing. Its hard work though, particularly if you've let things rot out.

Oh and now it looks like we won't be going to Canada in July.

Why you ask?

Well let me tell you!

It's because the turkey finally realized our roof needs to be replaced. The whole thing is rotting out, decking and all and not in just one spot the whole roof!

Oh and guess what I told him that before he bought the dang house. He put it off for so long that now he can't wait any longer it's really just a matter of time before the roof caves in.

And yes I told him it needed to be done many many times a year. Never listens to me. Now it's going to cost even more to fix it and it's to big of a job for me, I don't want to do it!

So now he's all I'm going to to have to get a second job now.

Well guess what buddy I don't care I told you long ago and I even told you not to buy this house when you have no clue how to fix things.

Days like today I wish I never sold my house, I'd be gone by now!

Wow. You are going through a tough time. ( don't want to blow my scant plus ones)

As long as the rafters are good, it's still easy. It's ripping and cutting plywood off the roof, no big deal.

But roofing work is always under hot and miserable conditions.

look it's Frenchy.......

oh man that's rough.

2 able guys and the right tools can breeze through it tho....

Can the boys help?

That's an excellent idea! Get the boys to do the roof and they'll be much better set in the future for these kind of home repairs.
