The DCA (Consumer affairs), along with the police, the State Tax and Finance, and Sanitation raided 8th ave today. Illegal street vendors, dozens of them, blocking sidewalks, turning the place into china.....

Everyone finally found out that this, isn't ###### China. You don't get to do whatever you want. Like leaving 2 feet of space for people to walk on the sidewalk. Like driving the scooters without regard for any traffic laws.

All the foods got tossed, scooters seized, riders ticketed, summonses, arrests, sales/ income tax penalties, all rolled into one operation.

8th ave is very, very quiet right now, like the way it was before the fooks came.

Too bad ICE wasn't invited. You know, "sanctuary city".

I got 1 single call on it in regards to a fook that was arrested. Turns out, he was collared on an outstanding warrant as the result of a name check, for assault.
