oh man it's hot out

Breaking a sweat.

Speaking of sweating, where's Frenchy...

I'm here still. Heading out the week after next. Been busy trying to put out fires. I have so many emails from people bitching about each other. Exhausting. So much misplaced anger. Don't know why I bother sometimes. Edited by Jacque67

Well it's actually a cuttlefish...

I made oysters on the shell too

Cuttlefish looked great.

What's oysters on the shell? It's great to lightly grill oysters (in the shell?) , take them off the net grill, pour sake on them then swallow them whole . But here oysters are for winter...

Why are you instigating fights between others huh?

Oysters, still on the shell

The oysters look great.

Take them off the netting and add sake.

Not instigating. Just getting emails from friends bitching about each other. So tiring. Mediating .

These musta been harvested by skimpily clad Nipponese pearl diver girls. Or at least, that's what I'd like to think...

Just must add why in early summer?. Much more delicious in winter. Especially from the Noto peninsula and matsushima .

Your lips move, but no words come out...

Oh never mind, I see what you said...

Your friends hate each other.

Petty rivalries of which I have no interest. Life is too short.

Ok, I see that you know absolutely zilch about blue point oysters!

Everybody knows that blue point oysters are seasonal in the spring

Duh!

Yeah I have eaten them, they have nothing on Japanese oysters. But you haven't had the experience and I'm not into one upmanship

Enjoy...and add some sake. Happy Memorial Day.

sucky. People were rude. Kids were loud. I had to work. I offered to go home. But I got paid time and a half so whatever. I made $120 today. That's less than half as much as my husband on a normal 10 hour day. Of course it's a government holiday so he didnt work.

BTW I hate that school gets out in May.
