Hi Everyone!

Me and my 5 kids arrived here last Apr 7 thru K1/K2 visa.Right now we havent done anything yet and my fiance is thinking of consulting a lawyer to help us on what needs to be done first to make sure we are on the right track..anyways since my fince is not in a hurry to move things forward yet, my kids and I are ussually just stay at home coz my fiance is busy working trying to catch up of what he missed when he was on leave to pick us up in the Phils. So I am wondring if anybody here lives anywhere near us? Would love to hear from their personal experiences around here.. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I'm not from your area, but can tell you that you will not need a lawyer to proceed. You and your fiancé need to marry before 90 days has passed after your entry, and then apply for adjustment of status for yourself and the children :-) See the AOS guides on this site :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.
