Hello Everyone!!

Potomac center is fast for USA citizen, this is my journey

*Prior to marrying my husband I knew my husband already undergo a USCIS by his ex-wife before.*

*My first time ever flying to Nigeria to not only seeing him but meeting him and we got married. prior to that we did lots of texting, skyping, face timing, you name it for 4 years. we meet through his aunt that is in USA with me and we attend the same church.*

Got married in Delta State, Nigeria on 12.07.2015

Prior to sending the paperwork I prayed and told God that my case wouldn't be like the rest that God will speed up my filing process and that bore 90 days I will receive my approval.

I sent in I-130 for my husband on January 21st 2016 to Chicago lock box with application, 4 pictures of us together with family around and by ourselves, my marriage certificate, both our background info paper, both our passport photograph pictures and the paper that you have to fill out for the email notification.

On the 25th of January 2016 received a notice that my case was transferred to Potomac Center in Arlington,VA

Called on April 14th 2016 customer service rep chatted with me and after the call I had asked to be transferred to speak to a tier 2 officer(immigration officer) to see how far my case was going and he stated my case was last touched on the 7th of April, two days before my birthday, I was excited.

On the 19th of April I had a dream that my husband and I was together in the USA.

On the 21st of April 2016 I called customer service and the rep talked like normally and at the end I asked to be transferred to tier 2 officer, the customer service rep read his script and transferred me, but it was an automatic message that stated that its a 22 minute wait and an officer would call me back. so I entered my number and waited for the call back. The immigration officer called me and asked question about my case and he told me that they JUST APPOVED MY CASE!!! I screamed and started to thank Jesus, and I said but it isn't online and he stated by the 22nd of April 2016 that it should be. I hung up in JOY & the Praised break begun.

On the 21st of April exactly 90 days from the initial day from sending my application and document to the USCIS my case was APPROVED!

HAVE FAITH AND TRUST GOD and he will work it out !!!!! God Bless you all

NVC here we come.

Nebraska is taking 4.5 to 5 months on average.
