Congrats!

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm not sure how I feel about ascribing successful applications (especially for CR-1s) to God's favor. I know it's a personal thing and respect the fact that we Naija people are religious, but it suggests to readers on this forum that there is something beyond our control -- even something spiritual -- about these visa applications that will require divine intervention to achieve success. It also adds a lot of undue anxiety to the application process -- which is already a significant amount of effort: instead of getting a good night's rest before the interview, see marathon prayer and fasting!

I respectfully submit that those are false premises. If you qualify for the visa, submit the required documentation, and can credibly defend your application at what is a simple interview, let me see the Powerless Power that will deny you the visa! Let's approach our applications and interviews with that attitude and with rigor.
