Noa1 for I-130.. How long does this normally take? Gettin restless!

Hey all we mailed in our i-130 on April 11 ... Confirmation from usps it was delivered on April 13 ... Our money order was cashed on April 18.. How long does it normally take to get the email notification an noa1 by mail? I see everyone's times lines an it's like every one is getting their's within a couple days of sending it so now I'm super nevrous!

You should get it anyday from now. I got the Noa 1 by mail after two weeks of sending the application . But got the email and SMS in two days.

Did you do the email notification form also?
My NOA1 date was 24th March, but I got the email notification on the 30th March, and the hardcopy on 11th April as I'm filing from abroad so mail takes time.

PS: My receipt number is still not online on USCIS today to be able to check on progress, so don't panic if it's not on there straight away either. Timeframes for that to happen (and for NOA2) depend on the service centre you get assigned to .... NOA2 will be anywhere from 4-6 months away generally.

If your check has been cashed that's a good sign.

Petition sent to NVC: 18th Aug 2016

AOS & IV Package sent: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite requested: 25th Jan 2017

Expedite approved (consulate only): 1st Feb 2017

Case Complete: 14th April 2017 (10 weeks 4 days)

Full expedite approved (bypass NVC to send file to embassy), however too late as I already had case complete 17th Apr 2017

I got my NOA1 32 days after I mailed the i-130 :D
