Former MLB pitcher and current ESPN analyst Curt Schilling stirred up controversy with an anti-transgender meme and comments he posted on Facebook recently.

Cyd Zeigler of SB Nation's Outsports reported on Schilling's social media activity Tuesday, including an offensive image and his comments from Monday, which were as follows: "A man is a man no matter what they call themselves. I don't care what they are, who they sleep with, men's room was designed for the #######, women's not so much. Now you need laws telling us differently? Pathetic."

ESPN announced it is firing Schilling on Wednesday, per Richard Sandomir of the New York Times. “ESPN is an inclusive company. Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated," ESPN said in a statement, per Sandomir.

Free speech is free. No one said you won't suffer consequences because of the words you're free speaking.

So America prides itself on freedom of speech, yet doesn't everyone all over the world have free speech? After all, "No one said you won't suffer consequences because of the words you're free speaking."

All actions have consequences. The law shouldn't protect people from making stupid decisions. None the less, we have more freedom of speech than other countries. Go to north Korea call the president a monkey and see what happens or China.

Speaking of China how's the internet over there?
