What is about the closet fear some men seem to have that there are gay men out there who want to jump their bones?

Don't you have to be somewhat big-headed to think that a gay man is going to be interested in you?

Its not as though they have no self control and want to bone every man, boy or old codger they come across.

doesn't matter to me...they cant propagate thru more children. They will all die of AIDS someday...sad, but this the way it is.

I will never vote for anything that wants to make any part of this legal.

I cant imagine some guy with a scratchy beard trying to nuzzle me on the neck.

You know what buddy?

AIDS is not a gay disease...Straight people have it also.

Why do you get to live your life freely but people who are different don't get the same right?

Get real.

We are all in this together.

No one is saying anything about some man nuzzling up to you, take your homophobia and hate elsewhere.

Let's Keep the Song Going!!!

As I understand it bisexuality is indeed the same as any other sexual orientation, something you are born with.

well,it certainly would make it easier to get a date on friday night. i knew i loved women since i was maybe 4. i NEVER thought girls were yuk, and in fact have flirted with them every since.

I think you can be born gay, can 'choose' to be gay, can swing both ways (from birth or from choice), can be gay or straight due to circumstances, can fall in love with a man OR a woman just because they're totally awesome and make a gay exception in their case :P etc etc etc. I really don't think there's any one way about it at all. I think everyone's different and the brain + our environment/raising/nurturing/circumstances are infinitely variable to where one person's reasons for being gay, straight or bi is gonna usually be a pretty unique conglomeration of factors.

It does GENERALLY seem to me, trend wise, that more men claim/seem to be 'born gay' than women do. I think this makes sense if we believe the studies saying that men are more sensitive and focused on sex, whereas women are more sensitive and focused on emotions. To a man then, specific physical stuff (male or female) is gonna turn him on; to a woman maybe the turn-on has a lot more to do with the emotions involved.

My mom recently outed herself and I think maybe even she's a bit confused as to "what" she is, if people try to peg it down. I think my first BIG crush as a kid was to a girl, and there were a good few pubescent years there where I kind of wished I was a guy (though I think this is because I was fat and hideous looking and wanted to play sports, not because I wanted a ####### with which to pursue other females or something). But obviously now I'm engaged to a man and very much in love, and have only ever been with/been in love with him. And to be honest the idea of any sort of sexual or physical contact with anyone BUT him wigs me out - it turns me off to think about kissing or doing anything else with another man OR woman, to where I can't say for sure if I hadn't met my fiance WHAT sexual orientation I'd be. To me I think it's more about the person...

I was gonna call desert fox a bit of an idiot but people beat me to it :(

i.e. if at the physical development stage there is a lot of testosterone then the body will be male but if there is not enough testosterone at the brains developmental stage then the mind will be female and you end up with someone who is man outside and woman inside.

Im not disputing your theory in general.. however, not all gay men are feminine.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I do not think being gay is right or wrong because its not my place to judge. What Im trying to figure out is why pple say they were born gay and some say they turned gay. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Okay here is the deal can anyone in this forum tell us all when they decided they were going to be attracted to the same sex or the opposite sex. If u cant think of when " exact moment" or how u came to the conclusion of what your choice is, then could it be that the choice was made for you??

I personally think that people are born gay if that is the orientation they lean towards.People who say they turned gay were always gay.But due to society and family pressure could not openly admit to being gay.

She's not talking about gay men. She's saying that's what happens when a transgender baby is developing.
