So I have a quick question. I just filed 2 weeks ago and I did not include our W2's. I did include tax transcripts for the past 2 years. How many of you all have had an RFE for not including the W2's in your packet?

The transcripts should be enough, unless your case is complicated. If you had only sent the tax returns (not transcripts), without the W2s, then you would need to send the W2s. You will see that the NOA you receive gives you an additional opportunity to submit evidence. Then is when the W2s would have been submitted and an RFE would be avoided altogether. :)

Is it for the K1? or for AOS? In case of AOS, if there isn't sufficient documentation you definitely will receive an RFE.. I got an RFIE because my husband's tax return was made with one w2 missing and it was insufficient income, had to amend his taxes and sent the new one.. my NOA1 was December 10 and got the RFE on January 25

2015-11-23: Called SSA after four weeks mark. They re-send the forms because it was the wrong one.
2016-01-12: Visit SSA and been told that there was a mail sent to me according the situation. Received it later in the afternoon.

2016-01-13: Finally got my SSN card!! (Yayy!! after 80 days!!)

USCIS:
2015-12-17: Forms I-485, I-765 & I-131 Mailed out by USPS Priority mail
2015-12-20: Package delivered

2015-12-30: Received three NOA1's e-mails and sms (I-485, I-131 and I-765)

2016-01-05: Received three NOA1's hardcopies on hand!

2016-01-06: Received biometrics appointment letter.

It's for removing conditions.. We sent one tax transcript and one copy of our taxes (1040) So I am guessing that we will get an RFE for the W2.

But you can avoid the RFE altogether. Don't wait for it. When you receive the NOA, read it thoroughly, and then send the W2s. If you do that, there's no RFE and no delay in your case.

You're welcome. The NOA won't specifically mention the W2s. It will just state that you have more time to submit evidence. It would have been the RFE that specifically mentions the W2s after they scrutinized your application. With the NOA, they only go over whether you submitted the correct fee or not and if you signed the paperwork. Nothing in-depth at that point. Good that you're asking though so now you know it's no big deal. :)
