MEDICAL CONCERN / PHILIPPINE DOCUMENTS AND IF TO BE IN RED RIBBON?

Hi Everyone




i would like to ask only if the USCIS is the one giving an appointment for medical and what are the check up/s have to be done.



I am currently working now in DUBAI. Has any filipino having same position like mine or anyone that is also working here in DUBAI with K1 VISA. My fiancee is planning to apply for k1 visa and will address it here. Im just wondering what are the documents i should prepare which i have to get in PHILIPPINES. Also should all the documents need to be in red ribbon?

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

You follow the Dubai Procedures as I, and others have responded on your last post. My fiance is Filipino but he lives in saudi on a working visa, even though his passport, birth certificate, and shot records are from the Philippines. But you follow the procedures for the consulate at which you live. Also, follow Dubai procedures on your medical as well. Some places you can book a medical anytime, some you have to wait.

Your US Fiance should complete the entire package of the K1 process...that is the I-129f petition. Now what YOU need to send him. The following:

1- If you were married and been divorced or had annulment. You need to send him copies to be included in the petition.

2- If you have kids you need to include them on the Petition even if you are not planning to bring them to the US.

3- You will need to send your fiance a 2x2 US passport Photo of you to be included in the Petition with your name written on the back.

4- You will need to send your fiance a completed form G325A and be sure to sign it.

5- You will need to send your fiance a letter of intent to marry.

6- Send your fiance any pictures together, any old receipts, photos or copies of gift receipts, postal cards etc..

------- Police clearance from DUBAI-----

What you will need to get from the Phil for you to take with you when the interview time comes...don't send them to your fiance....

1- You will need to get a police certificate

2- Your original birth certificate and make copy of it.

3- Certificate of CENOMAR free to marry.

4-Be sure your passport is current with more than six months before it expired.

This is what you will need to have ready from the Phil....

then you can follow the rest of the procedures on what else required after your case was sent to the embassy, completing the DS-160 online, pay the fee and follow the requirements for the interview. If all goes well, the Embassy will send you information about where to take your Medical tests in Dubai. Normally it should be done one week prior to the interview and the results are sent to the Embassy.

You will need CENOMAR and and NBI - for travel abroad.

USCIS has nothing to do with the visa application phase everything is through the embassy - follow the embassy instructions letter. (The K-1 guide here on VJ for the embassy phase/actual visa application is lacking, you need to follow the embassy instructions letter)

On the I-129F did you put current address as in Dubai or Philippines? (ignore 36a&b it isn't looked at) The address for the beneficiary determines where the case file will be sent.

You will get it between 10-14 days. Red Ribbon is not required as long as it's certified from NSO. I got mine from the above mentioned link.

BUT DO I REALLY NEED TO GET NBI? OR POLICE CLEARANCE ALREADY FINE?

I AM PLANNING TO ASK SOMEONE (MY MOTHER ) TO GET THE DOCUMENTS BELOW AND SEND IT HERE IN DUBAI. I CAN GET IT ONLINE BUT SEEMS LIKE BIRTH CERTIFICATE CANT POSSIBLE TO DO IT THROUGH THAT. I DONT HAVE MY ORIGINAL COPY AS DFA TOOK IT BEFORE FOR RED RIBBON.

1. BIRTH CERTIFICATE

2. CENOMAR

3. POLICE CLEARANCE

4. NBI ( IF REALLY REQUIRED )

SO ASKING SOMEONE IN PI WOULD BE THE GREAT OPTION I GUESS.

WE DIDNT PUT ANY ADDRESS YET AS WE'RE JUST PLANNING TO FILE IT NEXT MONTH ( MAY ) AND ADDRESS HERE IN DUBAI.

AND FOR THE ADDRESS IT IS SAFER TO PUT THE COMPANY ADDRESS YEAH? SINCE ANYTIME THINGS CAN HAPPEN. LIFE HERE IN DUBAI IS UNPREDICTABLE. YOU DONT KNOW WHEN BALADIYA (PEOPLE ASK TO LEAVE) WILL HAPPEN. :)

I AM PLANNING TO ASK SOMEONE (MY MOTHER ) TO GET THE DOCUMENTS BELOW AND SEND IT HERE IN DUBAI. I CAN GET IT ONLINE BUT SEEMS LIKE BIRTH CERTIFICATE CANT POSSIBLE TO DO IT THROUGH THAT. I DONT HAVE MY ORIGINAL COPY AS DFA TOOK IT BEFORE FOR RED RIBBON.

SO ASKING SOMEONE IN PI WOULD BE THE GREAT OPTION I GUESS.

WE DIDNT PUT ANY ADDRESS YET AS WE'RE JUST PLANNING TO FILE IT NEXT MONTH ( MAY ) AND ADDRESS HERE IN DUBAI.

AND FOR THE ADDRESS IT IS SAFER TO PUT THE COMPANY ADDRESS YEAH? SINCE ANYTIME THINGS CAN HAPPEN. LIFE HERE IN DUBAI IS UNPREDICTABLE. YOU DONT KNOW WHEN BALADIYA (PEOPLE ASK TO LEAVE) WILL HAPPEN. :)

- I have submitted just NBI only and its valid for one year. I asked my friend to get it for me, I have sent her an authorization letter, attached my passport copy and she mailed it to me via DHL.

- NSO online can send you certified cenomar & birth certificate. It's on their system & it's certified copy means its not just from any registrar office or hospital (Im talking about birth certificate), once you get it from NSO, they will stamp it, same as for your birth certificate

-Well, in I-129F there is an option for mailing address, which is I also used my office address and there is a question there where do you live/current address which is you need to put your current address in Dubai.

Please note that you dont have to submit yet your cenomar & NBI clearance to USCIS, you will need it on your interview day.

Is also credit card/bank accounts gives credit or does it helps for the petition processing. If you dont have, will it affect your petition or it doesnt matter if you have or not?

The most important is you can prove to USCIS and Consula your bona fide relationship, your petitioner will need to submit Form I-134- Affidavit of support & he needs to prove that he can support you financially & should pass the poverty guidelines.
