Waiver case is pending .extend k1?

Hi everyone , I am new member .

This is my story ,

I am USA citizen and my fiancé is Mexican (currently living in Mexico ).he was illegal entered USA and over stayed more than one year , I filed k1 visa on December 2014 .we received letter from N.V.C 3/9/15 .the case#CDJ....

We received letter from US consulate general 3/26/15 .

My fiancé had interview at ciudad Juarez consulate 4/23/15

His case did not approved but he do qualified for I-601 waiver, so , we applied waiver .

USCIS received our waiver application on 9/28/15 the case #Lin....

Our waiver case decision is still pending .

My concern is should I request to extend our k1 visa ? Where and how should I context ?

Please give me some advice .that will be really helpful .thank you !

Hi , same for me here. Once USCIS approved your petition , you have 4 months to complete the K1 process , which ends with the interview. I applied for the waiver , too, in Nov/2015. Still waiting for an answer . They say about 6 months in Nebraska , so maybe next month for me. Cross our fingers. Good Luck to you !!

I sent an email to the embassy to inform them that we had filed the I-601 waiver and to request an extension of our K1 petition. I believe it gets extended automatically, but I sent an email just to be sure. You can let them know your waiver receipt date if it makes you feel better.
