Hey fellow visa enthusiasts!

We've just received packet 3 and are organizing vaccination records and a medical before requesting an interview date. I'm moving from Los Angeles to Austin in two weeks with my current employer and was wondering if the best course of action is to send a letter to USCIS (I know they tell you to update them if you move).

Could someone verify that this is the correct way to submit an address change at this stage in the game. Should I send through an amended i-129f for my Fiancee to bring with him during his interview?

Thanks all,

Laura

I believe the address can be updated at the interview. I know address can be changed online using the case number but I am not sure if this apply since your case at the embassy.

Maybe it is a good idea if you can fax him a copy of the new address to take with him to the interview.

The beneficiary can update your address when he/she submits the DS160 prior to the interview :-) Your address change came at the most convenient time during the process :-)

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

You are no longer with USCIS. They handed you off to the Dept of State after petition approval. You don't need to inform USCIS. Beneficiary can put new address on visa application as others have said.

Haha! Thanks pretty good. I should be more specific, we're already submitted the DS160.
