If you have a waiver pending, your visa can't have been granted yet..? In any case, you should contact the embassy that is handling your case.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Why did you need a waiver? Where did you send the waiver application? What had happened since in terms of communication? Did you get any notifications about the waiver file?

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

The visa was denied, and you were told you could file a waiver. There is no visa to extend.

The embassy should extend the K1 petition/visa application while the waiver is in process. When our visa was refused and required a waiver, I notified the embassy of the date we filed the waiver and requested an extension. I don't know if that was necessary but I wanted to be sure the embassy knew we were going forward with the waiver filing.

If it makes you feel better you can contact/email the embassy and let them know you filed the waiver and the received date.
