I had a guy at Walgreens use a cutting tool on my passport photo, but he cut it pretty badly. It was cut slightly too far to the right, so there's a small grey strip going down the right side of the photo. It's small, but clearly visible - probably about 1mm wide.

I asked the guy who cut the photo and an employee at a nearby post office, both of which said it's fine.. But is it? I'm a little worried about risking it.

If you have any doubt I would measure it. If its not exactly 2x2" I would make them redo it or pay for a new one. Our I-129F is on hold (RFE) for new photos. Im not sure if they lost ours or if hers was too small as I did notice it was slightly smaller than mine. They did not say what was wrong only that they need new passport photos. The next ones I send in will definitely be exactly to specs!
