I want to remove the attorney from our process and do it myself, help!

We had initially asked for an atttorney for assistance. We paid him so far 1750.00 dollars but we are thinking at this point we can handle everyhting on our own with the assistance of this site.

My fiance and I are approved to go to Juarez for the interview. We are at the point of filling out the DS 160 and setting the appointment so we are all approved. But I keep reading about packects of info being sent, like packet 3 or something of that matter. I am obviously not getting these packets. I do have a letter that states bring the approval letter to Ciudad Juarez for the interview. Do I really need anything else?? Can I just go to the interview w/ the DS 160s paid and medical paid and get this done??

I would like to remove the attorney from the correspondence but when I call the Juarez mexico office all i get is automated systems and people says "no you reached the nonimmigrant visa section I will transfer you, and then they say "no you need the immigrant visa section" and they basically don't answer questions.

Also, I would probably email NVC and ask to remove your attorney. I see they have an option in their drop-down question selection:
