I just want to say that I think Casablanca is getting nicer. They actually answered my email in regards to checking the status of receiving my fiances papers. They even let me know that his packet was mailed out to him and that his interview is for April 4th, 2006. This is scary, they are answering in a timely fashion and giving more info then requested. Maybe this is the calm before the storm :P

I must say that as far as answering e-mails they are pretty good...what is only worrysome is the general attitude at the Consulate...Congratulation on your interview date and good luck to your man...I hope he will get through it without a scrach...My fiance had his interview yesterday and the experience with the infamous female officer was not the greatest but at least we are getting closer...stay positive and all will turn out well

I think Casa goes through spells. Last August they answered 2 of my e-mails. They also sent me Abdel's interview date by e-mail. Of course it wasn't very encouraging that it was 3 months out, but at least we knew.

From what I've seen, they just seem to get really swamped by the diversity visas sometimes and get way behind for a while.

Congrats! It's awesome that your interview is so soon.

Congratulations on the interview date. I was one of the lucky ones who received responses back from my emails to the consulate. When they told us of Abdou's interview date on 3/21/05 it was 5/10/05 but at least I knew :D There is no way to understand the system in Casablanca but you received an answer fast and I'm thrilled for you. By the way, April 4th, was my father's birthday so I'll be sure to think of you :yes: I'm sure it's going to be a lucky day :dance::dance:

Casa was great when we were going through them, (although THE horrid woman was there). I have often been upset reading these posts in recent months about how they have really gone downhill. Lets hope we are seeing the beginning of a change for the better! :)

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
