All I wanna say is think rationally and don't fall for sorry or apologies...one week is way too early for Domestic Violence...It will only get worse and you will end up loosing money on legal fees.

So when is the acceptable time for domestic violence?

NEVER.

To me, it wouldn't matter if it was the first week or the 30th year... the moment my wife puts her hand on me, we're finished. There is no room for that in any marriage.

If you don't show up to court they'll be forced to drop the charges because then thr burden of proof falls on the courts and they don't want that over something stupid. Future advice.. If you're not at risk of serious injury.. Don't call the police just leave or something... Police make everything more difficult and rui everyones life.. If shes convicted even if she does stay now every time she has a job interview she has to feel judged and will be judged because of her criminal record.
