Ds260 re-opened

Our i130 was reaffirmed jan 13-2016 after 2 yrs. Nvc says they dont have our case yet from uscis. But i opened ceac site and iv application says reopened. I had to fill out the ds260 again, why? Im confused

Hi Robinanis I am in the same situation as you my case was send back to USCIS for review back in 02/03/16 but I opend my DS260 and it said re-opend does that means something other that I need to updated, will it means that someone is working on my case or something..hate this waiting

I was told after 1 yr it expires

Uscis told me its 1 yr for review and it will be one yr june 10, seems our case was not reaffirmed like i was told. But now a senior officer is reviewing it.

Oh no i hate the waiting USCIS told me to wait 180 days to hear from them, so here i am counting the dates until August 1, 2016 to see what happen or submit a request for them to review my case.

Yes within an hr i recieved a thank you email

I would send a request every 30 days, plus i called everyday and talked to a two tier officer. The ones who answer the phone see what you see.but be prepared for a yr to review, they started Mine just april 14 this yr

The 180 days is for the first time filing.when it returns its 1 yr to review

Also i was told yesterday the delay for reviews is because california uscis is being audited.that froze all files til it was finished, i dont know where your file is

so when i called i need to ask for a tier 2 officer. this is what i received on february 3

Yes i recieved the same email.so yours is nebraska i see by the LIN , mine was too but then shipped to cal.cuz of overload, i never waited the 180 days
